, Chairman and COO of StarTex Power, has more than seven years of experience in the energy industry.
All day-to-day operations at StarTex Power as well as the company’s regulatory and legislative group are overseen by Marcie, and don’t be surprised if she answers the customer service line too.
Prior to co-founding StarTex Power in 2004, Marcie served as President and Director of Gexa Energy, a retail electricity provider she co-founded in 2001.
A recognized and respected leader in the industry, Marcie is the proud recipient of several professional and community awards including: 2008 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Texas Women’s Chamber of Commerce, 1996 Texas Business Woman of the Year, and 1995 Houston Area Women's Center Volunteer of the Year. Also, in 2008 StarTex Power was honored as Houston Business Journal’s #1 Fastest-Growing Woman-Owned Business.
Marcie serves on the Board of GCPA and her founding organization TEAM, a Texas non-profit group whose purpose is to promote deregulated policies and initiatives on behalf of its members. She also sits on the TAC (Technical Advisory Board) at ERCOT, and was recently appointed to the Task Force on Electric Reliability by Mayor Bill White.
Marcie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. When Marcie isn’t working, she enjoys snow skiing and watching her kids sporting events.

, President and CEO of StarTex Power, has over 25 years of diversified business experience, primarily in service-related industries. Robert is responsible for the overall direction of StarTex Power, its long-term strategic goals, corporate finance and investor relations.
Prior to co-founding StarTex Power, Robert held executive and senior management roles in finance and accounting with PACE Entertainment (Clear Channel). Lifeco Travel Services/American Express and Ernst and Young.
Robert has been a guest speaker before the Texas Legislator’s House Regulated Industries Committee, Gulf Coast Power Association, and the Deutsche Bank Private Equity Conference. In 2008, he was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist for the Gulf Coast region.
Robert has a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. He was named the outstanding graduate business student in 1979. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. When Bob isn’t working, he is active in youth sports in the Houston area.

, CFO of StarTex Power, has over 15 years of experience as a financial accounting professional. Todd is responsible for the daily management of the accounting department at StarTex Power.
Prior to StarTex Power, Todd held executive and senior management roles in finance and accounting with Southern Auto Group, driversselect Automotive Group, Autonation, Van Chevrolet and Alamo Rental Cars.
Todd is a current member of American Institute of Certified Accountants (AICPA) and the Houston CPA Society. He also attends various seminars during the year to keep abreast of current issues in the industry.
Todd has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and earned his MBA at Marquette University in Milwaukee. When Todd isn’t working, he enjoys supporting local area sports programs and watching his son participate in various sports.

, Senior Vice President of Operations for StarTex Power, has more than 16 years of experience in the service industry and has expertise in implementing operational efficiencies, improving productivity, as well as the development and retention of talented employees with the focus on operational excellence. At StarTex Power, he is responsible for the daily operations that include customer support, billing and related business processes/applications.
Prior to joining StarTex Power, Francisco held management positions for other retail energy providers in Texas and brings seven years of deregulated industry experience to the company. Prior to his stint in the energy industry, he served as Director of Operations at TeleCheck Services for 10 years.
Francisco earned a BA from Massey Business School in Houston and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. When Francisco isn’t working, he enjoys supporting Houston-area community organizations.

, Senior Vice President of Wholesale Supply for StarTex Power, has more than 13 years of experience in the energy industry. At StarTex Power, he is responsible for all wholesale market activities, from load forecasting to scheduling and QSE operations.
Prior to joining StarTex Power, Steve was responsible for marketing, regulatory affairs, asset optimization and market development at Oxy Energy Ventures. While at Oxy, Steve also managed a portfolio of assets that included significant industrial load and generation resources across various NERC regions, including ERCOT, PJM and New York.
Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors from Florida State University with a Chemical Engineering degree.
