Marcie Zlotnik - Chairman and COO Marcie oversees the day-to-day operations of the company as well as its Sales and Retail Regulatory Affairs. Most recently she served as President and Director of Gexa Energy, a $100 million retail electricity provider she co-founded in 2001. Prior to that, she served as President of TotalNet Communications, a long distance telephone company, which, was 1994's fastest growing privately held company in Houston. Marcie also served as Chief Operating Officer of Coastal Telephone Company, another long distance telephone provider.

Robert Zlotnik - President and CEO Robert is responsible for the overall direction of the company, its long-term strategic goals, corporate finance and investor relations. He has over 25 years of diversified business experience, primarily in service-related industries, and he has held senior management positions in Finance and Accounting with PACE Entertainment (Clear Channel), Lifeco Travel Services/American Express and Ernst and Young. His academic credentials include a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

Stephen Madden - Sr. VP of Wholesale Supply Steve is responsible for all wholesale purchases as well as management of StarTex's power, from load forecasting to scheduling and QSE operations. He has extensive experience in the energy business, including Oxy Energy Ventures, where he was responsible for marketing, regulatory affairs, asset optimization and market development. While at Oxy, Mr. Madden was responsible for the management of a portfolio of assets that included significant industrial load and generation resources across various NERC regions, including ERCOT, PJM and New York.

Miles Higgins - Sr. VP Strategic Development Miles is responsible for establishing policy and procedures for business applications, information technology, billing, payments and corporate services. Previously he served as Vice President Operations of Gexa Energy. Miles brings 18 years of operational and marketing experience with over 8 years of deregulated energy markets across the United States. Prior to joining Gexa Energy, Miles served as Director Business Development for ExoLink Corporation where he was responsible for the implementation and support of retail energy companies such as NewPower, Entergy, Nicor Energy, and Reliant Energy when entering deregulated gas and electric markets.

Carl Schmidt - Sr. VP Finance and Chief Financial Officer Carl has over 25 years of financial experience, including 14 years with a “Big Four” public accounting firm and over 10 years in senior financial positions, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of small-cap public entities in the telecom and high-tech manufacturing industries, where his responsibilities included SEC reporting, taxation, risk management, treasury, credit and collections and budgeting.

Mr. Schmidt received a BBA with Honors and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Francisco Segura - Sr. VP of Operations Francisco is responsible for the daily operations that include Customer Support, Billing and related business processes/applications. Francisco has more than 16 years of experience in the service industry and has expertise in implementing operational efficiencies, improving productivity as well as the development and retention of skilled and talented employees with the focus on operational excellence.

Prior to joining StarTex, Francisco served in the same capacity for other Retail Energy Providers in Texas and brings 7 years of deregulated industry experience. Previous experience includes 10 years with TeleCheck Services where he served as Director of Operations that included, Customer Care, Collections, National & Regional Billing, POS Inventory, Repair & Deployment, Franchise Relations and the management of international and domestic Business Acquisitions.

Francisco earned a degree in Business Administration from Massey Business School. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Diane Nicolaou - VP of Finance Diane is responsible for the company's accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, cash management and human resources. She is a Certified Public Account with over 20 years of public accounting and private industry experience. In her most recent role, she served as Chief Financial Officer of a privately held construction company with revenues in excess of $50 million.

Jamie Rigell - VP of Customer Service Jamie is responsible StarTex Power's in-house call center, customer service policies and procedures, rate management and new order processing. He has 13 years' experience in the regulated and deregulated services industry. Previously he served as VP of Customer Service for Gexa Energy and oversaw a staff of 40 service representatives and a base of 100,000 customers. Prior to Gexa Energy Jamie spent 8 years in the telecommunications industry as VP of Customer Service, receiving numerous awards for retention of both customers and employees.
